Brandy Melville: Haul & Experience

It doesn't take long of watching youtube videos and surfing the fashion internet to learn that Brandy Melville is a beauty guru favorite.  Unfortuantly, Brandy Melville seems to only exist in California and a few other lucky states.  So when I traveled down to San Francisco I was determined to find location and let myself go (just a little) crazy!

I knew I had wanted some of their signature lowback, flowly dress so I ended up trying on a bunch and ended up with a crème one and a black and white daisy:

Brandy Melville: Jada Dress
It is worth to note that there has been some confusion over weather these are long enough to be considered dresses and not shirts, being 5 foot 10 myself I was worried about them not covering everything.  I noticed that some fit better then other and after chatting with a reliable worker here's what I learned:

Brandy Melville makes mostly "one-sized fits all" clothing, but everything comes in different lengths.  Some noticeably longer than others and the only way to tell is by trying it on!

Next up we have some plain circle skirts, so cute and versatile! I chose a baby blue and a dark maroon, but you could spend hours picking between all their patterns and colors.  Trust me, I was in that store for a painful four hours:

This sweater was the most expensive thing I bought, but when you try it on and you feel like you're wearing a big comfy blanket you'd buy it too:

(this one doesn't have a name sorry. lol)

Now you didn't think I would leave without buying crop tops did you?! Brandy carried so many different shapes and colors and styles in these it was emotional only choosing two:

Brandy Melville: Jacqueline Tank and Giselle Top

Also got this super cute bracelet! Just trying to be trendy not actually Jewish sorry guys:

Brandy Melville: Beaded Hamsa Bracelet
That's all I bought! Now that I see it on here it doesn't seem like too much, but it did make my wallet a lot lighter!  I would describe Brandy Melville a mix between Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters, the quality is really good (I psychically pet the shirts and sweaters because they were so soft) and the prices aren't cheap but aren't outrageous!

The store in San Francisco was extremely crowded and the actually experience of buying the clothes was horrible.  It was too packed, the place was a mess, and I was completely stressed the entire time.  As I expected, the workers were all young trying-to-be trendy girls who looked like they could care less and probably didn't.  I overheard some shoppers saying that this was the smallest Brandy Melville they had ever been too, I sincerely hope that's true because this was too many bodies and not enough air!

But it's always worth it for cute clothes ;)

Introduction: My first blog post!

Hello blogging universe!

I thought I would kick this off with a simple introduction, my name is Sarah and I am a high school student who lives in Seattle, WA.  I started this blog because I have a passion for writing, beauty, music, as well as many other aspects of my life and I wanted to share them and connect with people.  I have been a huge fan of reading blogs for awhile now and I finally convinced myself to start one of my own.

Although I have no idea what I'm doing and this is my fifth time writing this intro (I'm praying I don't accidently delete it again) I have loads of ideas and I'm really excited to figure it all out!

I will try to write about a variety of things that I think I would be interested in reading as well has other people.  I want to offer a unique perspective of the world from a teenage girl in hopes to relate to other teenage girls out there.
